Our Online Presence
With our virtual design, we aim to position ourselves more clearly and better communicate our vision and direction.
Iriba-Brunnen e.V. seeks to reach and unite the diverse members of our society through media. Due to many external influences like wars, pandemics, or climate change, we as global citizens are also changing.
In this VUCA world (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity), a world characterized by instability, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity, we at Iriba-Brunnen have decided to expand our activities and sharpen our focus. For this reason, we want to share our web presence with our supporters. Many have thought that “Iriba-Brunnen e.V.” builds physical wells. In fact, we engage in social, cultural, and political fields, and the “well” is symbolic:
We build social wells. These are places where solidarity, education, empowerment, and engagement are fostered through our actions. Spaces are created for the growth of all involved. We build wells collaboratively—everyone is invited to contribute their “stones” to a better future. Iriba-Brunnen strives for a fair society based on human rights, where we work together with appreciation for all contributions, without discrimination or judgment.
You are all invited to help realize our vision together—socially, culturally, politically, and financially.
Diversity strengthens is our motto.
Our website has been developed with the kind support of the Stiftung Umwelt und Entwicklung NRW.
Iriba-Brunnen e.V.
Iriba is a Rwandan word that means well—it stands for development, dynamism, and community. Since our founding in 2014 by migrants and Germans in Münster, our focus areas have expanded. Today, anti-racism, empowerment, and sustainable development (SDGs) are our main topics. We are now active in Münsterland, North Rhine-Westphalia, and even internationally. However, our core idea remains unchanged: together, we want to connect cultures, break down prejudices, promote education, and strengthen solidarity.
Our Goals
Promotion of…
- youth welfare and adult education locally in Münster and worldwide
- development education and international cooperation
- international understanding, tolerance in all areas of culture, and the idea of global understanding
- anti-discrimination work and empowerment programs
- aid for those politically, racially, or religiously persecuted, as well as refugees
- cooperation with other associations and institutions in Münster and worldwide
- social integration of newly arrived citizens
We are looking for you!
We are always looking for volunteers, people for community service, and interns.
